1. Call to Worship (Adapted from The Worship Sourcebook)

O Lord, Our Maker,
by your Word you created
a wondrous universe,
and through your Spirit
you breathed into it the breath of life.

Accept creation’s hymn of praise from our lips,
and let the praise that is sung in heaven
resound in the heart of every creature on earth,
to the glory of the Father, the Son,
and the Holy Spirit, now and forever.

2. All Creatures of Our God and King – Words: Francis of Assisi (circa 1225), Music: adapted from an arrangement by David Crowder

All creatures of our God and King
Lift up your voice and with us sing,
Alleluia! Alleluia!

Thou burning sun with golden beam,
Thou silver moon with softer gleam!
O praise Him! O praise Him!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

3. Rejoice by Dustin Kensrue and Stuart Townend

Come and stand before your maker
Full of wonder full of fear
Come behold his power and glory
Yet with confidence draw near
For the one who holds the heavens
And commands the stars above
Is the God who bends to bless us
With an unrelenting love

Rejoice! Come and lift your hands and raise your voice
He is worthy of all praise, Rejoice!
Sing the mercies of your king
And with trembling, rejoice

4. I Will Wait For You by Jodee Lewis

Following a prayer of confession from Sojourn Community Church (based on The Valley of Vision prayer “Man A Nothing“), we remembered God’s faithfulness as we sang this song based on Lamentations 3:19-24.

Yet this I call to mind,
and therefore I have hope
Because of the Lord’s great love,
we are not consumed
Your compassions never fail;
they are new every morning
and I will wait for you

6. All Must Be Well – Words by Mary Bowley Peters (1847) with contemporary music by Matthew Smith.

Through the love of God our Savior, all will be well;
Free and changeless is His favor, all is well;
Precious is the blood that healed us;
Perfect is the grace that sealed us;
Strong the hand stretched forth to shield us,
all must be well.

7. The Prayer of St. Francis – Words: St. Francis of Assisi (translation c. 1912), Music: David A. Cover and Christine Cover

O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
